Very clean, great location and reasonable price.

Very clean and comfortable, near the train station and the main road for food and entertainment. Walking distance to night market

We were there for two nights but only saw staff when we checked in. It would have been helpful to have staff a bit more available in case of any issues

Great place

Very good localisation, near Taipei main station from where you can go everywhere in the city . Staff is kind and very helpful. Especilay one of member take time to make me a plan.

Sometimes after a long day or after a big trip you need sleep but you can take your breakfast until 10:00. Breakfast is good and for everybody (Local/foreigners)

Choose WOW HOSTEL do not stay at MIX HOSTEL

It was comfortable and clean.

It is too expensive for the area. We were the only guests but they requested 500 NTD when we asked to use 2 beds instead of 1 as they had no twin beds but 2 double beds. When we refused to pay additional 500 (the room was already 1.539 for a night) the staff suggested we could go somewhere else. This was shocking we just stayed there because they had already taken a 770 deposit and had our credit card info. This was a bad experience. WOW HOSTEL isan amazing place for 976 a night with breakfast and private facilities and the location is more convenient, the staff is always there and very helpful.

Although lacking in a breakfast, the location is close...

Although lacking in a breakfast, the location is close enough to the main train station to walk and there are plenty of convenience food places around selling quick breakfast items, Chinese fast food restaurants and cafes. The rooms are all recently renovated and are quite nice. Good CP, as the Taiwanese like to say. ;)

No elevator so you get to drag your luggages up a few flights of stairs although the male manager did help us so I didn't have to carry my luggage, my husband and he did all the heavy lifting.

Love the platform bed in the room! Toilet is sparkling clean too. Very homely place. Abt 10mins walk from Hualien train station and many food places nearby.

When we arrived we were welcomed by a colorful walkway into...

When we arrived we were welcomed by a colorful walkway into the premise as well as friendly staff. The hostel is very homey and clean, close to 7 eleven and family mart as well as a delicious dumpling restaurant. The room and toilet was very spacious and the hostel theme clear and well decorated.

We had large luggages and the hostel did not have a lift to the 4th floor. The staff although very friendly, did not speak english. Although nearby amenities, the hostel was well away from the main activity centre and the large night markets.

Very nice people running then hostel, friendly and speaking...

Very nice people running then hostel, friendly and speaking good English (the young couple). The dormitory is very comfortable and cosy, feels like home. Location is close to the train station and the scooter rental. You can easily find something to eat around.

Bed are a bit short (180cm I think) so if you are tall your feet will go over the frame if you lay down. It didn't bother my sleep or my comfort while reading or using the laptop. It's a bit far from the city center, about 20min by foot. It's better to have a bicycle or a scooter, but not an absolute necessity.
